Cap and gown

Today I had to go pick up my cap and gown from school, I have been done for nearly five months but it doesn't feel like that at all. It was a strange moment, because I don't think that I realized fully that I am graduating from college until I laid my hands on that black polyester.  Walking through the school it was actually kind of hard for me because for nearly 3 years that was where I lived and thrived. I love college, no scratch that, I love my college. It was like a Cinderella slipper fit for me, small classes, my teachers knew me (and still know me), great, caring professors, a wonderful curriculum, my college was the greatest choice I made (prior to Andy that is). For 3 years I was there practically every day and as much as I complained I can honestly say that I loved every minute at that school. It was hard for me to get into the car today, knowing that I really am finished. I'm not going to lie, I even cried a little. I'm worried that I as I move on to a job and graduate school that I won't find a fit as nearly as perfect as Lourdes was for me. It's silly I know, but I just want my next school and work experiences to be as great as my undergrad. I know I'm just nervous about the next step I have to take, but at least I have Andy by my side and we can figure it out together.
